Meet the little brown monster that became a worldwide phenomenon. Domo originally debuted in Japan in 1998 as a mascot for Japanese broadcaster NHK, but his fuzzy brown body, wide-open mouth, and unmistakable sawtooth teeth quickly took on a life of their own. After becoming a sensation in Japan, Domo found an entirely new audience in the U.S., where he became an internet-era icon and a fixture of 2000s pop culture. Now Domo is back in a major way, bringing all that wonderfully weird nostalgia to a new generation—and Whatever! Makes You Happy is celebrating his return by turning him into one seriously fuzzy statement bag.

Our Domo Oversized Sherpa Tote Bag transforms Domo himself into a roomy, super-soft sherpa tote. His signature eyes and giant toothy mouth take center stage, while an oversized front appliqué shows Domo happily digging into a bowl of rice. The plush brown sherpa covers the body and handles for a cozy, tactile look that feels unmistakably Domo, while printed, quilted, and appliqué details give the artwork extra dimension. Open it up to discover a custom Domo printed interior lining, and look closely for the exclusive Whatever! Makes You Happy x Domo acrylic charm included with every bag. It’s oversized, fuzzy, functional, nostalgic, and just a little strange—in other words, everything we love about Domo.
